All of the bunnies occupy the Bun Room in their Hawthorn's Homes habitats. Everybun is neutered and all are on a diet of fresh,
locally-sourced timothy hay, locally-sourced fresh Salads, and limited amounts of Purina Rabbit Chow. Of course they also
have treats of Craisins, banana, apple, and the occasional Rice Chex. Each bunny also has toys - a tin measuring cup for Hunny,
a set of infant rattle-keys for Belinda, balls-with-bells-in for Beebe-Bunny, and barrels with bells for MissyBun and Mr Mouse.
Phonebooks to shred are also considered great fun, as are cardboard boxes!

Belinda went to the Bridge 26 August 2004
This is Belinda Bunny - Hed Bunny-In-Charge-Ob-Ebberyting.
Read "The Hay Diaries" at http://www.thehaydiaries.com - one of the LONGEST-RUNNING HouseRabbit's Blog on the
'net!
Belinda was our 10 year-old English Spot whom Phil and I adopted from Laura Warner's South Jersey Rabbit Rescue. (www.southjerseyrabbitrescue.org).
In August, 2003, Belinda underwent major surgery for the removal of a bladder stone. Thanks to the patient and brilliant efforts
of Dr Sharin Skolnik and the magnificent surgical skills of Dr Michael Doolan, our girl made it through her ordeal with flying
colours! Belinda was next diagnosed with a large mass in her stomach, which has turned out to be cancerous. It was inoperable,
but Belinda was a fighter. She enjoyed three salads a day, her treats, toys, playtime and making her nightly "rounds".
Our tough Top Bun began her own weblog on 1 January, 2004, and continued it during her illness with the words, "I
can't be habbin wif dis 'sik' stuff...", until finally choosing her own time to pass over the Rainbow Bridge.
The authorship of "The Hay Diaries" then passed to George, who continues to blog two or three times a week... Go

LuckieBun - New Year's Bunny!
This is Luckie-Bun, who arrived along with her pal, Mr Mouse. Luckie found her place here when her wonderful owner decided
to allow her to be adopted rather than placed through an ad in the newspaper or just "let go". Luckie-Bun was six
years old and really seemed to be Our Warren's sweet little "lucky charm" for 2004! Sadly, on the 24th of May, 2004,
Luckie joined our darlings Hawthorn and SnoBall at the Rainbow Bridge - a victim of mycotoxin poisoning associated "bagged"
Spring Mix salad greens.
For Luckie-Bun, Our Little Dreamer...
Black Rabbit, Oh Black Rabbit!
Our Warren saw you come today.
Black Rabbit, Oh Black Rabbit!
You took Luckie-Bun away! *Thump!*
Black Rabbit, Oh Black Rabbit!
Why did you pass this way?
Black Rabbit, Oh Black Rabbit!
We wish you'd stayed away! *Thump!*
Luckie, we shall miss you,
Though you were not here for long.
You were always such a happy Bun,
To loose you is so wrong! *Thump!*
Affectionate and loveable,
So sweet and full of charm;
You left us for the Rainbow Bridge,
The Land of Peace and Calm. *Tear*
Poor Mouse is sad and lonely;
He misses you, his friend...
But he wishes only for your happiness
In the Life that never ends!

Monday, July 28 2003, Our Warren suffered the loss of Hawthorn, beloved of Belinda. This is Hawthorn's picture; our little
CEO of Hawthorn's Homes, he of the tiny body, huge curiousity and unquenchable joy. At the time of his passing to the Rainbow
Bridge, Hawthorn was an eight year-old Holland Lop with blue eyes. He was a delightful member of St. Luke's Bunny Ministry,
three-time chairbun of the Easter Egg Hunt and Visiting Bunny. He is sadly missed by all. Go to Page 6 for his Memorial Page.
This is Mr Mouse. Everyone needs to have a "mouse about the house" and thanks to a very kind gentleman who was forced
to let him go, we now have one!
Quite by accident, we discovered that Mr Mouse is an enthusiastic viewer of the television show, "Law & Order"
- in fact, he's a fan of "Jack McCoy" and, we suspect, an aspiring prosecutor! Mr Mouse throws toys, upends crocks
and causes all kinds of racket as soon as he hears the "Law & Order" theme-song. Once seated on his own pillow
in front of the television, he settles down to watch intently as cases are solved and the bad guys brought to justice. He
has no patience for commercial breaks, gets restless when there is a lull in the action and seems fascinated by the court-room
scenes!
We're pretty sure that Mr Mouse was raised with his "playtime" occuring while his previous owner watched "Law
& Order", so that he associates the theme-song with being out of his habitat, having treats and being petted. Mr
Mouse probably considers hearing the actors' voices rather like having "visits" from "old friends"!

Left for the Rainbow Bridge 7 February 2004
SnoBall Foster - Foster might be his last name, but he's part of the Warren! SnoBall is staying with us because his momma's
mean landlord threw him out! The laws in NJ state that a new landlord can evict an existing pet - without notice! In our opinion,
that is a crime! Animals have rights, too!
After fighting a two-week battle against stasis, SnoBall left us very suddenly for the Rainbow Bridge - just as our dear
little bunny-boy had become "ExFoster", a full-fledged member of Our Warren. He awoke cheerful and bright, and before
noon he was gone. Godspeed little darling! A tribute to our pretty baby who had just been granted permission to live in his
Forever Home follows on another page.
